JUMP & CO PUBLISHING
Website Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 23 September 2026
These terms cover use of the Jump & Co Publishing website and direct online book sales.
1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern use of jumpcopublishing.com and purchases made directly from Jump &
Co Publishing. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Separate written agreements
may apply to authors, contributors, retailers, distributors and other commercial partners.
2. About Jump & Co Publishing
Jump & Co Publishing is an independent publishing business. You can contact us at
hello@jumpandcopublishing.com. Our legal entity details and business address should be added to these terms
once finalised.
3. Website use
You may use our website for lawful personal and business purposes. You must not misuse the website, attempt
unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, scrape content in a manner that
infringes our rights, or use our material unlawfully.
4. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website design, branding, text, graphics, cover images and other original website
content are owned by, licensed to, or used with permission by Jump & Co Publishing. Books and extracts may
contain rights owned by authors, illustrators, photographers or other licensors. No content may be copied,
reproduced, republished, distributed or commercially exploited except as permitted by law or with the relevant
rights holder’s written permission.
5. Book information
We take reasonable care to describe books accurately. Cover artwork, dimensions, editions and other details
may occasionally change. Colours displayed on a screen may differ from printed products.
6. Prices and payment
Prices will be shown on the website in the currency stated at checkout. Delivery charges and any applicable
taxes or duties will be shown or explained before the order is completed where practicable. Payment must be
authorised before an order is dispatched. We may correct genuine pricing or description errors and, where
appropriate, offer the customer the choice of confirming the corrected order or receiving a refund.
7. Orders
An order is an offer to purchase. We may acknowledge receipt electronically, but acceptance occurs when we
confirm acceptance or dispatch the relevant goods, depending on the checkout process. We may decline or
cancel an order where an item is unavailable, payment is not authorised, fraud is suspected, delivery is not
possible, or there is an obvious pricing or listing error.
8. Delivery
Jump & Co Publishing
We may deliver within the UK and internationally to destinations made available at checkout. Delivery estimates
are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. International customers are responsible for any import duties,
customs charges or local taxes that are not collected by us at checkout.
9. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Consumers purchasing online may have statutory cancellation and return rights. Where the UK Consumer
Contracts Regulations apply, a consumer will generally have 14 days after receiving eligible goods to tell us they
wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return them. Exceptions can apply, including to certain
personalised or sealed goods where the legal conditions are met.
If a book is faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise does not conform to applicable consumer law, please
contact us promptly. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights. Return instructions, the return
address and responsibility for return postage should be confirmed on the website before direct sales go live.
10. Author and publishing enquiries
We do not accept manuscripts through the website. Prospective authors may send a short introductory email to
hello@jumpandcopublishing.com with information about themselves and their proposed work. Please do not
send a full manuscript unless we request it.
Sending an enquiry does not create a confidential relationship, agency relationship, publishing agreement or
obligation on Jump & Co Publishing to review, respond to, publish or return material. Publishing rights are
granted only through a separate written agreement signed by the relevant parties.
11. Third party links and retailers
Our website may link to authors, retailers, social platforms or other third party websites. Those services operate
under their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third party websites merely because we
provide a link to them.
12. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be
excluded under applicable consumer law. Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses caused by
events outside our reasonable control or for business losses arising from consumer use of the website.
13. Availability
We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may
suspend, withdraw, amend or update parts of the website when reasonably necessary.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections
that apply in the country where a customer lives. Consumers may have rights to bring proceedings in courts
available to them under applicable law.
15. Changes
We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published when an order is placed will normally
apply to that transaction, unless a change is required by law.
Important: before direct sales go live, add the business address, delivery arrangements, return address, payment provider
and any specific shipping charges or restrictions.
